Over time and with the abuse of everyday wear and tear your carpet can loosen up and loose its stretch. The only way to fix this is by stretching your carpets again. Loose or poorly stretched carpet can cause folds or wrinkles. These folds can not only damage your carpet but they can also become dangerous tripping hazards. By making sure your carpet is properly stretched you will be keeping you and your family safe from injury and also maintaining the life of your carpets. This will also prevent soil and dust from collecting in the folded or wrinkled areas. Along with carpet stretching, Mr. Peabody's Floor Care offers other carpet repair services. Services such as, reattaching loose tack strips as well as gluing in bonded inserts in areas where carpet may be damaged or missing.
TILE DAMAGE REPAIR
We all love our tile floors and do our best to maintain them to last. Unfortunately, damage can occur. Tiles can become loose over time or by poor installation. If tiles stay loose and are not properly bonded back down they are at risk of possibly cracking. We can come bond your tiles back down properly so they stay put and don't come loose. If tiles are cracked, we can replace them with left over matching tiles if provided by home owner or do our best to find the same tiles or a close match for reinstallation. Your grout is also prone to crack and have gaps over its life time. Cracks or gaps in your grout can cause moisture to get underneath your flooring. This moisture can cause mildew and mold growth as well as water damage. It is important to have your loose and damaged grout removed and have fresh new grout laid to fill these cracks and gaps.

Water on your floor covering can be a very serious problem. One thing to note is that water travels a lot further than it appears on the surface. Remove any wood furniture from the area or prop it up so it is not in direct contact with moisture. We assist with carpet pad removal, disinfection, and speeding up the drying time with dehumidifiers and air movers.
ODOR CONTROL
Deodorization is needed for many reasons, pets being the predominant one. Deodorization is not adding of perfume, but the application of an odor counteractant that actually neutralizes the odor at its source.
